Here at Holmer Veterinary Surgery, we pride ourselves on providing a dedicated and professional service for companion and production animals in the Hereford area. We are a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Accredited Core Practice, and an RCVS Accredited Small Animal General Practice.

Our team consists of tier 2 RCVS accredited veterinary surgeons, meaning we are also a nurse-training practice. Our team of nurses is lead by head nurse Sam. She is supported by our fully qualified Registered Veterinary Nurses Angie, Danielle, Jodie and Rachel, and by our trainee nurses Charlotte, Yvonne and Nicole.

John Bell

Qualified from Edinburgh University in 1971.
Outside of work, John enjoys running, travelling, and looking after his flock of Blue-faced Leicesters.

Phil Adams

Qualified from Liverpool University in 1989.
Outside of work, Phil enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.

Rachel Allen

Qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2002.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her own animals, travelling, films, and a good book.

Tony Riches

Qualified from Liverpool University in 2000.
Outside of work, Tony enjoys cooking, mountaineering and some golf.

Nafisa Farooqui

Qualified from Bristol University in 2010.
When not at work, likely to be found outdoors, socialising with friends/family and enjoying music, often all at the same time!

Jasmin Overton

Qualified from Bristol University in 2010.
Outside of work Jasmin enjoys running, horse-riding and surfing.
