Professional vet care at your home or farm

We generally prefer to examine and treat most cases at the surgery because of the readily available staff and all our equipment there. However, if your pet is too unwell to travel, or it is not possible to get a patient to us, we can arrange home visits as required. Please phone the surgery for further information.

If a home visit is required out of hours, you will be attended by one of our vets and possibly a nurse too. For acute emergencies though, treatment can often be started sooner if the owners and patient are met by one of our team at the surgery building.

Unlike some veterinary practices which refer their out of hours work to other practices, one of our own team will always be on call to provide that vital, familiar face and continuity of service.
